Product Release: Research Material Management 21.1

  • Release 21.1 provides several enhancements to the Approvals process.  The Open Approvals page provides easier access to information for the users authorized to grant approvals.  Notifications generated related to approvals have been streamlined to reduce redundant messages.  Users may also generate a new Approvals report to provide a history of approvals.
  • RMM 21.1 provides navigation and access improvements such as allowing the user to return to the search results set directly from Material Edit page as well as allowing direct access to request details in Request Item and Receiving searches when any user enters a specific Request number, Purchase Order number or Shopping Cart name. 
  • The optional Stockroom Module Reprint Pick Slip page is enhanced to group all items on a single pick slip together.  Additional targeted changes include making history available for manual transfers as well allowing users to see all stock items in Source Search using a wildcard as a criterion.
  • Release 21.1 also completes the re-write of the JAGGAERs handheld computer application for inventory operations support staff.  All RMM mobile computer functionality is provided within a single application.  This includes the Stockroom Physical Inventory application functionality which has been streamlined/ simplified.  Increased logging is available, and the application now supports the additional option to use Employee ID for user/device authentication.    
  • Container Search and Operations is enhanced to allow more search criteria options to better support inventory managers.  Additional criteria options include Lot Number, multiple EHS Lists, grouped container status and the ability to quickly set a location.  A new container operation allows an authorized user to Set Expiration Date on a group of containers in the results set.  Users may also clear the search results after a search or container operation is complete.  
  • System Administration functionality has been streamlined and is now available within RMM with a single login.  Users with permissions may now maintain the system with enhanced functionality & improved ease of use changes on select pages.  Examples of the feature set include maintaining Report Groups which allows an administrator to identify which users have access to specific reports, maintaining printers and labels, managing Code Tables, and much more.
