JAGGAER Indirect 21.2 Release Highlights

The JAGGAER 21.2 release for Indirect solutions includes a number of new capabilities and enhancements to our solutions and across all solutions on the platform.  Some highlights of the 21.2 release include: 


  • Introducing JAGGAER Adopt and Assist for Procure to Pay 
    – Adopt – in-application support which will drive system education and adoption to help your organization understand how users are utilizing the platform. 
    – Assist – a virtual assistant available 24/7 that uses natural, conversational language to answer questions, provide guidance, find data, or start a new task. 
  • A new Business Analytics dashboard measures the value your company is realizing in areas like estimated savings, performance and goals and compares your KPIs against industry standards. 

Procure to Pay 

  • Custom field names, such as accounting codes and value descriptions, can be translated in an enabled language. 


  • In an advanced cart in the new shopping experience, we have added editable fields so shoppers who do not have access to the checkout may provide necessary order information. 
  • Enforce a total quantity limit to prevent overspending on a single contract item. 
  • Enhanced order collaboration with suppliers by adding an order acknowledgement notification for buyers and allowing suppliers to make change requests within the supplier portal. 


  • Better functionality for invoices imported from various sources such as easily distinguishing invoices from external invoice networks or Digital Capture. 
  • Receipt Document UX will be updated to match that of the shopping and invoicing experiences.  


  • Easier editing of contract metadata eliminating the need to make changes in multiple places. 
  • Support non-disclosure agreement contracts for the out-of-the-box Contract Risk Analysis models. 
  • Ability to validate commodity codes and units of measure values when adding or editing contract non-catalog items. 
  • Ability to prevent eSignature from being used in locations where electronic signatures are not valid. 
  • Configure by contract type so only relevant fields for a specific type are visible. 

JAGGAER Advantage 21.2 Release Highlights

 The JAGGAER 21.2 release for Advantage solutions includes a number of new capabilities and enhancements to our solutions and across all solutions on the platform.  Some highlights of the 21.2 release include: 


  • Other users can now be enabled to act on behalf of the Platform Administrator with access to the Administration menu and other critical, restricted tasks. 
  • This recommendation engine operates through customer-defined rules to reduce complexity in procurement. 
  • All recommendation decisions will be communicated back to the engine for analytical purposes. This data will be used to refine the process and enable more precise recommendations in future.  
  • Site administrators will be able to configure the rules that generate recommendations across: Extend an RFx Deadline, Supplier Recommendations, and Supplier Universal Assessments.  
  • Users with the necessary permissions will be able to view these recommendations and choose to accept or decline each recommendation that is presented to them. 


  • New Rfx Creation Wizard will act as a guided pathway to streamline configuration steps and simplify supplier invitation.  
  • Define Individual Supplier Currencies for Multi-Currency Auctions which will provide competitive confidentiality in the auction process.  
  • Simultaneously reassign and replace division and ownership for all objects in a project and all changes will be recorded in the History of Changes. 

Supplier Management+ 

  • Category Attributes feature will expand access to buyers (view, search) and suppliers (view only).  
  • Expanding partnership integration with riskmethods to help identify and assess risks in your supply chain. 

Spend Analytics+ 

  • View Engine Request by submission and start dates along with status updates on the Engine Execution log.
